Prologue
Cultural Allusion
Act 3,
Scene 2
Lines 132-133

A definition of a Prologue in Act 3, Scene 2 of myshakespeare's Hamlet.

Hamlet

We shall know by this fellow. The players cannot
keep counsel, they'll tell all.

It was also common for plays in Shakespeare’s time to have a Prologue, an actor who comes on stage to give an introduction to the play. Hamlet fears that the Prologue will reveal the plot, thus ruining Hamlet’s attempt to surprise Claudius.
