Fortinbras
Earlier in the play, Fortinbras, rash and bent on revenge, was a threat to Denmark. Now, he seems to have tempered his vengefulness, and is all set to become King of Denmark. How does Fortinbras’s character compare to that of Hamlet? What do you think of Shakespeare’s choice to have Fortinbras become the next King of Denmark?
