Portia wants information, and the Soothsayer heads to the Capitol

Portia tries to send Lucius for news but becomes distressed. She is further unnerved by the Soothsayer.

Brutus' servant, he is confused by Portia's agitated demands.

Soothsayer

A mysterious prophet who tells Portia that he will try to deliver one last warning to Caesar.

Scene Summary: 

Portia tries to send Lucius to the senate to see what is going on. She wants him to tell her exactly who is talking to Caesar. The soothsayer enters, and Portia questions him; he says he is on his way to the Capitol to warn Caesar. Although he does not definitively know of a plot against Caesar, he is afraid that one exists. After the soothsayer departs, Portia sends Lucius to speak to Brutus to figure out what’s going on.
