You minimus of hind’ring knot-grass made,

Among other insults, Lysander calls Hermia a "minimus" made from "hindering knotgrass." A minimus refers to anything tiny and insignificant, and knot-grass is a weed, so named because its stems are intertwined like knots. According to folklore, herbal teas made from knot-grass would stunt, hinder, your growth.
