Video Transcript:

Athena

In Shakespeare’s day, too much rain was as dangerous as a drought when it came to crops and livestock

Ralph

That’s right, Athena.  If things got too wet, crops could rot and wash away... and livestock could get mired in the mud and drown.

Athena

Which, as Titania points out, is good for the crows, but not so good for the sheep and the farmers

Ralph

Titania’s also pointing out that the flooding is getting in the way of people having fun, too.

Athena

Nine men's morris is a game similar to tic-tac-toe and can be played on a grid pattern scratched onto a patch of ground.

Ralph

And so the constant rain has ruined that game for everybody.

Athena

And the mazes Titania mentions are just paths through the grassy fields that could also be used for games ...like races along the paths.

 Ralph

And all of these problems because Titania and Oberon aren’t getting along.
